A series of hand-blown glass carafes examines the thermal function of soapstone. For the best results, the stone is cooled in a freezer for two to three hours before use. When the stone and the hand-blown glass carafe come into contact with each other by placing it on top of each other, the liquid in the carafe cools down and is kept cold for three to four hours. Each carafe has a unique form determined by the shape of the stone on which the glass is blown on.
